ISAP offers fellowships (€ [Euro] 400; US $ 500.-) to young investigators who wish to attend its scientific meetings but would be unable to do so without financial support.

Please, contact the Secretary (Johan W. Mouton, MD PhD, Department of Medical Microbiology, Canisius Wilhelmina Hospital, Weg door Jonkerbos 100, NL-6532 SZ Nijmegen, The Netherlands;  E-mail: <secretary@isap.org>; tel: +31-24-365 7514;  fax: +31-24-365 7516) at least one month before the meeting you are interested in to attend.  You must submit a formal request supported by the necessary documentation (abtract of poster for symposia and meetings; reasons to attend for workshop) and provide evidence that you cannot raise money for attending out of your regular sources of funding.  Fellowships will be awarded based on scientific merits and of perception of a financial need.

Notification to succesful applicants will be made 25 days before the meeting.  Actual payment of the fellowships will be made at the time of the meeting.
